Version 1.1 of our NES Zapper game, Gunhawk, is now available!

This version re-tunes the Danger Level mode that engages after you clear the game and implements a High Score tracking system.

The Danger Level begins at 0 and will increase by one every time you clear the game. When Danger Level is elevated, scout units will attack, enemy projectiles move faster, and enemies spawn a projectile when defeated.

If you want a real challenge, you can hold A and B while pressing Start or Shooting the Title Screen to start with an elevated Danger Level.

Here is the full list of changes for v1.1:

• Added version number to Title screen
• Updated Emma's cutscene portrait
• Implemented High Score tracking (current high score is visible on Game Over and Title screens)
• In Danger Level 1, projectile speed is increased and enemies fire off a projectile when destroyed 
• Allowed starting from Danger Level 1 (equivalent of clearing game once) by holding A and B when pressing Start or shooting screen on Title screen
